On Monday night the 15th of Feb, Cork GAA Rebel Og Coaching held yet another very successful workshop in a series of workshops which have taken place over the last several weeks, with even more planned over the next few weeks.
This week saw Martin Fogarty, Ex Kilkenny Senior Hurling Coach in action for Cork GAA Rebel Og Coaching in the Nemo Rangers GAA Complex. This workshop was a blend of practical and theory modules which were aimed at coaches of youth and adult players.
With over 100 coaches from clubs in the city and county attending this session, interest was high. The coaches present were able to get an insight in to how Martin delivered a coaching session. Martin who coached the Kilkenny Senior Hurlers from 2005 to 2013 and before that had guided the Kilkenny U21 team to All Ireland titles in 2003 and 2004, was able to give his insight to a very attentive audience
Kevin O’Callaghan, Games Manager with Rebel Og Coaching , said that Martin delivered an excellent session which saw a blend of practical and theory drills and information with a very informative question and answer session afterwards.
