Tournament Information

  1. Panel of 24 players to be presented prior to playing the first game. Only players on this list can play during the entire tournament.
  2. Full GAA Rules apply.
  3. All first round games and semi-finals will be 25 minutes per half.
  4. The finals shall be 20 minutes per half.
  5. If any game (including finals) ends in a draw after normal time, extra time of 5 minutes per half to be played. If the game finishes level after extra time, a further period will be played and the first score will determine the winner.
  6. Unlimited substitutions (from the panel of 24) are allowed.
  7. All players MUST wear the jersey number according to the match programme.
  8. Counties with two teams participating are asked to have an alternative set of jerseys in the event of a clash of colours.
  9. Entry fee of €150 per participating team to be forwarded to Noel Hartigan, Games Manager, Limerick GAA Office, North Campus, University of Limerick, on or before Wednesday 29th June 2016. Cheques can be made payable to Limerick GAA.
  10. Teams are asked to please RESPECT the venue facilities and leave dressing rooms CLEAN and TIDY as they get them.

Tournament Information

  1. All group games and semi-finals are 15 minutes a-side Finals are 20 minutes a-side
  2. Each Panel is to have a maximum of 24 players. (Any County that breaches this rule will not be allowed to play in the tournament)
  3. Full G.A.A. rules apply.
  4. Top two teams in each group to Cup semi-finals, 3rd and 4th to plate semi-finals, both Finals are 20 minutes a-side, group games and semis to be 15 minutes a-side
  5. Separating teams finishing level on points in groups as follows (1) Head to Head (2) Scores conceded (3) goals conceded.
  6. Separating teams finishing level for finals: 2 periods of Extra time 2 x5 mins and if no winner after extra time then 3 penalties each and then sudden death.
  7. All substitutes’ names must be given to the referee.
  8. If a player is sent off during the course of a game for two yellow cards, he will miss the rest of the game. If a player is sent off for a straight red card he is not allowed play in the next game of the tournament.
  9. All players are to line out as numbers in the official programme.(All Counties please ensure that all your players are registered with the GAA.)
  10. The Decision of the organising committee on all matters relating to the tournament is final.
  11. Size 4 Footballs.
  12. Counties with two teams participating are asked to have an alternative set of jerseys in the event of a clash of colours.
  13. Entry fee of €150 per participating team.
  14. All Kick-outs from the ground.
