Go Games Update, Summer League Entry form, League Change Form 2018

1.)Go Games results

For U10 and U11 levels, it is very important that all Go Games results are completed on the form on ww.rebelogcoaching.com under your age groups page. These are needed to ensure clubs are put in groups of teams that would be a similar ability to yourselves. I need all results from the March to June period by July 9th at the latest, so if any games have not yet been played, please do so by then. There are no cups, no league tables just want to ensure every child gets to play meaningful matches against other teams of similar ability and games are balanced. U9s are welcome to also submit results but we will be keeping these as local as possible with for Stage 2 of the Fixtures.

2.) Go Games League Team Changes:

At the end of Stage 1 of the annual fixtures, we give clubs the opportunity to change their team entries, number of teams entered, withdrawal or addition of a team and you can do so by completing the form here. Deadline for entries is Monday 9th July and changes will not be made after this. Any emails/texts/phone calls received before this advising clubs of their intentions are null and void and only entries made here will be noted int he fixtures for the remainder of the years program.

3.) Summer Go Games League:

Like last year we are giving the clubs an opportunity to continue playing Hurling and Football during the Summer months. This year we are offering clubs the opportunity to play Football or Hurling. Due to events happening the same night though, clubs can only choose 1, unless you have a lot of players and have 20+ players available every night. This will run on Wednedays for 4 weeks starting Wednesday 11th, 18th, 25th of July with the final night on Wednesday August 1st. This is a 9 a side competition and 4 teams will be based at a venue each night where they will play 3 x 20 minute matches against each of the other teams. Deadline for this is Friday 29th June and i will get more details out to each club who enters. Start time is 7pm, to finish at 8.30pm each night with one club hosting the matches and venues will vary from week to week. There will be modified rules also.

4.) Young Referees:

Please ensure that you have young referees for all matches and encourage them the same as you encourage all players.

Colm Crowley
